Advertising Guidelines
All advertising will be reviewed by HIMSS. All advertising is also subject to approval
by publisher.
To maintain the integrity of HIMSS publications, advertising (i.e., promotional material,
advertising representatives, companies, or manufacturers) will not influence decisions
about content or delivery of products and services. Decisions to sell advertising are
made independently of specific product and service content.
Advertisements must be readily distinguishable from editorial content. If the distinction
is unclear, the word "advertisement" will be added.
HIMSS, in its sole discretion, retains the right to decline any submitted advertisement
or to discontinue posting of any advertisement previously accepted.
The advertiser assumes liability for the content of all advertising printed, and also
assumes responsibility for any claims arising therefrom made against the publisher.
Cancellation of and changes to space reservations must be received in writing
prior to the published space reservation deadlines. Alterations to materials must be
received prior to published materials deadlines.
All positions other than premium ones are given on a space available basis. Position
requests will be filled to the greatest extent possible, but cannot be guaranteed except
for cover and paid premium positions.
